VIDEX WINS ALL ROUND WITH PUPPY DERBY - 28/07/2004
The Videx Greyhound Puppy Derby 2004, held as part of the card at Walthamstow track on 3 July 2004, was an outstanding success. Pictured are John Rickard (Managing Director of Videx Security) and son Danial with winning dog Olybean, trainer Ernie Gaskin and kennel handler Emma Fagan. Ernie proudly holds the winner's trophy - a gleaming silver dog collar donated by Videx and acclaimed by the race organisers as one of the best trophies they had ever seen.

Videx Security, market leader in door entry and access control, has a long association with greyhound racing. The Videx Puppy Derby is now widely recognised as a major event, attracting coverage in the Sporting Life amongst other publications. Some 80 colleagues, customers and friends representing distributors, contractors and fellow suppliers from throughout the security industry joined Videx for a fantastic sporting and social occasion. The event attracted a crowd of some 4000 spectators.

"It's a great event, growing more popular by the year as the size of the crowd indicates. Our sponsorship and association with it gives us the opportunity to meet up with other industry professionals in a relaxed and highly enjoyable atmosphere. We will certainly be retaining our links with the Puppy Derby for the future", said John Rickard.
